
Rossi - known in the culinary world as Chef Rossi - is widely known as New York City’s wildest caterer. She was called "a new breed of rebel anti-caterer" by The New York Times.
As a painter, Rossi's works have been exhibited at The Provincetown Art Association Museum, Studio 429 in Soho, Cavé Cane (1st Ave. Manhattan), Bob (Eldridge Street, Manhattan), The Cork Gallery in Avery Fisher Hall, the Lawrence Gallery, the Long Island City Art Frenzy, "Reaction," which showcased the changes in the work of NYC artists as a result of September 11th at The DNA Studio Gallery. She also co-founded "The Lost and Found" gallery in Crown Heights Brooklyn and is the founder of The Artist's Room.
"Fish" is the 13th show Rossi has been featured in at The Artist’s Room.
Rossi's expressionistic paintings are shockingly dense in texture. "Explosive" is a word often used to describe her work.
Her recent work focuses on the womb and the cocooning of adult fetuses.
